Khadi Herbal Hairwash Powder

Khadi Herbal Hair wash is made with fruits, flowers and herbs recommended in Ayurveda which promote hair growth and keep scalp clean. Reetha or the Indian soap nut is a natural cleanser. It has been used for centuries in India for bathing & washing hair. Shikakai is a natural hair conditioner. Amla gives gloss & shine to hair & strengthens hair roots. Vasaka prevents scalp infections. Bhringaraj, which means the King of Hair in Sanskrit, keeps the scalp cool & prevents hair fall. Neem & Tulsi are anti-bacterial & Fenugreek prevents dandruff. Henna conditions hair & has astringent properties which maintains scalp health. Lemon is a natural cleanser. Hibiscus is a natural hair conditioner & promotes hair growth. Jamun is anti-bacterial & has a cooling effect on the scalp preventing hair loss due to heat build up. Mango works as an astringent; it is also anti-bacterial & cools the scalp.

Take two cups of water & add a few tablespoons of Khadi herbal hair wash depending on hair length and heat it gently for roughly ten minutes. A glass beaker is preferably. Leave it overnight in a glass container. You can gently heat it next day to room temperature. Filter out the herbs and use the water content. Rub all over scalp & entire hair length & leave on for a few minutes. Wash off with plain water. Do not shampoo.

Take care to prevent the natural shampoo from entering eyes. Rinse thoroughly with plain water if contact happens.

You can use the filtered herbs as manure for potted house plants.
